Can't install Edubuntu on a new PC

I think someone already suggested this, but you can try waiting it out to see if it's just
output that's unresponsive for a while, as was the case with one of JaneW's machines.  If that
doesn't work, doing a server install and then using the command "apt-get install
edubuntu-desktop" could be a useful work-around.  If neither of those work, let the list here
know when you will be available with both the computer you need to install on, and another
internet-capable computer (for jabber or IRC) and I or someone else can talk you through
configuring Xorg (the graphical system on Ubuntu) manually.
