Hmm. Yeah, that is weird.

...was a curses-based installation for me - no LiveCD desktop in sight.

I just double-checked my md5sum and it's happy, too:

gbecs6 ~ # md5sum /home/admin/edubuntu-6.10-install-i386.iso
ace2a8fb5f02c8fc82b9ab0851032d3a /home/admin/edubuntu-6.10-install-i386.iso

alvin ~ $ wget -O- http://releases.ubuntu.com/edubuntu/6.10/MD5SUMS 2>/dev/null | grep -- install-i386
