Problem booting edubuntu thin client in vmware

Hi all,

Hoping someone has seen this before.  I'm setting up my testing network, but
have run into a problem.  The edubuntu server installed fine, and I setup a
new vm for the LTSP client.  However on booting the client I see this

And then it freezes.  Nothing.
Any ideas?
Logs to check etc?
