You need to use update-alternatives to specify icewm as your default X
Session Manager.
>From a terminal logged in as your administrator user, you can type the
following to set IceWM as your default X session:
$ sudo update-alternatives --config x-session-manager
Choose the number associated with IceWM, and it should work.
