cannot install :(

Hi

I've downloaded the edubuntu iso and tried to install but when it come
to rebooting the pc for the first from the installer it just freezes..
i've reset the pc and booted, but i keep getting a "drop shell" error.

im running the edubuntu from vmware workstation, could this be a problem?
