edubuntu workstation test - applications 3: Gcompris - missing assets

Gcompris complains a lot about missing assets, compare with mail from
Yves Combe.

It complains about a missing "dependency" 'gnuchess' (a "soft"
dependency, i.e. most of Gcompris *does work* ).

It seems that the localised sound files are missing too, e.g. it
complains about a missing '"assetml-voices-alphabet!"de'.
