Hi all--

i'm a software consultant working with schools and non-profits (and
others...) in New York City, been lurking on this list a while.

Just wanted to add that i also like the Chalkboard theme.  I share
some of the concerns voiced earlier about the current edubuntu desktop
(most importantly that a single white girl is not in tune with the
diverse user base we hope to support), and Jonathan's work clears up
those concerns nicely.  I'll also echo the "neutral, non-distracting,
and original" assessment.  These are good features.

i like the chalk logo on the wallpaper myself, but (picking nits in a
great design here) wanted to note that the edubuntu logo should have
one of the figures with hir hand raised.
