Hi all,

The Sowetan, Old Mutual and SABC Community Builder of the Year
recognises and honours those who make a significant difference in their
communities. Started by the Sowetan newspaper in 1991, the competition
acknowledges people who selflessly give of their time and talent to
improve the quality of life in their communities. These volunteers'
efforts serve to motivate and inspire others to become Nation Builders.

Award categories

    * Individuals who have initiated community development projects and
      have been running them successfully for a minimum of two years
    * Groups, organisations and institutions whose work is aimed at
      community upliftment
    * *Corporations whose social responsibility programmes are
      contribute to the betterment of people's lives*

The tuXlab project won the corporate division of the Old Mutual
Community Builder of the Year award last night. Hilton was there to
accept the award on our behalf.

This will be broadcast at *21h00* on *Sunday 13 November 2005 *on *SABC
2* if you are interested in watching it.
