Howdy from Texas!
My name is Chris Coldwell I am 33 years old and I am a software specialist for the instructional technology department in the Mesquite Independent School District. This school district is in the state of Texas in the United States. I am interested in the projects that you are currently working on because of the ideals behind them. I believe that ALL children should be able to learn how to use technology without expensive training or software. Some of my passions are education and technology. For these reasons I have begun my own company with a computer I built in the extra bedroom of our house. I am the founder of LearningElectric.com, which is a web site and company that provides free streaming software training videos to schools around the world. With very little money and a lot of hard work I have established a web site that the largest school districts in the United States regularly use to train their students and teachers. I have also received letters from school distric
ts around the world thanking me for the free resources that I am providing. This is the kind of thing that I love to do.
I have not made any money from this business because it is not my goal. My goal is to be the number one site for free online software training on the web. My business model is simple. Become the number one free training site and fund it with advertisements on the site, thus providing free training to everyone. Over the last year I have seen a tremendous amount of growth in our web site’s traffic and popularity. I am currently trying to find teammates with the same ideals that I have to help this venture grow. I am also looking for partners that are working on similar projects to promote the education of technology to all children.
I found your website as I was researching different distributions of Linux for our school district. I am very interested in open source software and all that it has to offer to schools and children interested in technology. I have a masters’ degree in educational technology and I am about to finish another master’s degree in educational administration. I am proud of these degrees, but they are useless unless I can use them to make a difference in the lives of others. I know that I could help your efforts here in the United States. I believe that I could provide valuable information regarding educational policies and technology practices that schools use here in the US. I think that we could become great teammates and make a huge impact on education and technology in the world. I would love to discuss some of the projects that you are working on and share with you information about mine. Thank you for your time and your efforts to make the world a better place.
Regards,
Chris Coldwell
