Thank you for putting together a Linux distribution aimed at educational
institutions. I am a parent whose six year old know only Linux. Not
only does he enjoy the games and opportunities create he is learning
maintain his finances with GnuCash (A superior equivalent to Quick
Books).
As my son is just beginning 1st grade at Portola School in Ventura,
California, I was entertaining presenting the idea of distributing Linux
live CDs to promote a "healthier" computer learning environment.
I recommend the inclusion of GnuCash (http://gnucash.org) in your
desktop applications. GunCash is a way to manage your personal or
business finances using Free Software much like Quick Books.
In addition to an excellent software offering GnuCash has a pretty good
accounting premier on their website.
GnuCash is an excellent product that offers an educational experience in
financial management. (especially since it does not cost anything).
Thanks for your effort and the efforts of everyone involved.
