I am trying to share a resolution to a problem that I feel is important to Ubuntu and
its accesptance as a universally useful OS.
The problem is with the LiveCD. I do not know if it extends beyond that. Here why the
information contain below is useful to users. "If a user of the LiveCD needs to deploy
this in a network where "Terminal Servers" exit, then the use of a single client that
will connect the user to that "terminal server" is extremely useful."
One such client is the "Terminal server Client" that Ubuntu provides. This is an
extremely useful and all-encompassing client tool that can allow it to connect to a
Linux or Microsoft Terminal server. BUT UBUNTU's LiveCD version has an oversight that I
am providing information, from the "Terminal Server" author, which can be easily fixed
and included in the LiveCD.
I hope I'm helping the group that is providing what I see as one of this planet's
worthwhile causes.
If you need contact me you can call me, George Martin, at 216/362-1330 x100 (US)
