Estimados, este es el resumen de la reunion sobre Edubuntu Handbook, el libro de Edubuntu que sera publicado por Lulu.
Como sabran, el tiempo es limitado (que raro :D ) y hay mucho por hacer, por lo que escribir la minuta en ingles y luego traducirla,
se me hace super latoso). Ojala, si alguien la necesita en castellano, que lo pida para que otro la traduzca para la comunidad.

Demas esta decir, que si pueden colaborar en libro, BIENVENIDOS! pero tengan en cuenta que la ayuda sera primero en ingles.
Luego, las traducciones comienzan el 11 de Julio y terminan el 29, pues la idea es tener el libro listo para el periodo Edgy, y quien sabe, incluso
 para el release de Edgy!

I just want to let you know about the meeting we had reagarding Edubuntu
Handbook, formerly known as Edubuntu Cookbook.

1) To contribute it is not mandatory to know DocBook. Volunteers can use
Text or OpenOffice format. There will be help to convert such
contributions into docbook.

2) the book is being kept in a non-official SVN repository so far.
Maybe, soon, we'll have a formal answer from DocTeam and we'll either
keep SVN or will get a Bazaar repo. If you want access to current
version, just email HedgeMage.

3) We'll be very happy to have your help,so If you want to work on a
chapter, please sign up for it at:
https://wiki.edubuntu.org/EdubuntuHandbook/EdgyTasks

4) As there are some countries (like my Chile) in the need of a lighter
desktop for Edubuntu, we'll include a Chapter for Edubuntu and lighter
desktop. Of course, this means users/admins will set the Edubuntu
environment Lab in a slightly different way too.

5) The Edubuntu Handbook will be printed by Lulu,

6) The deadlines :)

Sept 1st -> Freeze
Sep 2nd to 10th -> Proofread and last minute needed changes
Sep 11th to 29th -> Translations by anyone interested in collaborating.

7) Next meeting -> June 27th, 15 UTC on #ubuntu-meeting
