Firstly, I am +1 on reviewing your application via email, and voting via email. That being said, I have a few questions for you before I give my vote.

As context, I used to be a member of the Ubuntu Membership Board, and I also review Lubuntu Member applications as a member of the Lubuntu Council, so this will be a mix of social and technical questions.

Also, since an email application is not limited to a single hour and we have the opportunity for a more verbose dialogue, please answer thoughtfully (most are not surface-level questions; do your best, and feel free to research).

In your own words, what does it mean to be an Ubuntu Member?

What is one thing you dislike about Ubuntu, or something think needs improvement, and why?

What is your favorite part about Ubuntu, either technically or socially?

Briefly describe which teams govern the (community) Ubuntu project as a whole, and when it is appropriate to escalate a concern to them. (Include sub-teams if you could, but a full list isn't required. Bonus points for how they're elected and by who.)

Briefly describe the importance of the SRU process, the MIR process, and Feature Freeze, respectively.

And lastly, why are autopkgtests so important?
