For this specific example, I think the easiest solution is to ask the TB
to consider and ratify the rule. I don't see the TB having any problem
with the principle of this. Speaking with my TB hat on, I'd want to
clarify the points of contention already raised but I don't see there
being a problem with getting something agreed that everybody would find
acceptable.
Apart from this particular example, do you have any other examples of
where we actually have an issue with "rules/procedures/policies" that
needs fixing please?
