I agree. I think this is a natural consequence of different teams having
different workflows, but that is of overall benefit so that different
teams can adjust to their upstreams' workflows.

I favour thoughtfulness and active communication to pre-empt stepping on
others' toes as much as possible, and look for this when reviewing
applications.
