For the record, the DMB voted on this on 19 November and the motion did
not pass. We acknowledged that Dan is doing useful work in Ubuntu but
didn't think that he is ready for core dev yet. Feedback was given in
the meeting and we encourage Dan to reapply after it has been addressed.
