The contents of /etc/pam.d/common-auth:

auth    optional        pam_group.so
auth    sufficient      pam_ldap.so
auth    required        pam_unix.so nullok_secure try_first_pass


Contents of /etc/pam.d/common-session:

session required        pam_unix.so


Should I try changing the "required" in common-session to "optional"? Or is there something more elegant?
