Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20
Ubuntu Faisty detects a cdrom drive which physically does not exit. I own a HP NX6310 with 1 built-in dvdrw drive and no other optical drive was ever connected. The system, hoverer detects a second cdrom drive named cdrom 1 with exactly the same amount of free space a my root partition. The "drive" is mounted in /media/cdrom and is empty.
The bug didn't occur on Edgy/Drapper only on Faisty from H4 [that's the first edition I used] and continue to persist on H5.
Linux ubuntu 2.6.20-12-generic #2 SMP Sun Mar 18 03:07:14 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux
** Affects: meta-gnome2 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Unconfirmed
