[Bug 93868] gaim does not show sent message sometimes (when animated smileys used)

I have installed QIP-like smiley theme (in ~/.gaim/smileys/qip/)
and it works ok... but very often when I send message, the message
does not appear in conversation window immediately... it appears
only if when I receive another message after that.. or when I resize the
conversation dialog a little bit.. I see this behaviour only when I am
switched to this QIP smiley theme...
