[Bug 93579] Screen Resolution is less than before

Public bug reported:

Before I upgraded to feisty, I had 1024x768 resolution, with nvidia
legacy drivers.

Now my xorg.conf is the same (contains 1024x768) but I can't change the
resolution to this with the Prefs>Screen Resolution menu.

1. gksu "update-manager -c -d"
2. problem immediately evident
