Oops, nevermind the output in my last comment. Here's the correct
command:

temcat at eden:/media/sda6/Music$ gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri=file:///media/sda6/Music/natasha_perfectnine.mp3
Setting pipeline to PAUSED ...
Pipeline is PREROLLING ...
Pipeline is PREROLLED ...
Setting pipeline to PLAYING ...
New clock: GstAudioSinkClock

It plays OK.
