[Bug 93229] Window for "gdmflexiserver -n" disappears on desktop switch

Public bug reported:

If you run an Xnest'ed GDM session and login as a different user in it, and then switch workspaces, the Xnest window disapears. It seems like the whole nested session dies, but leaves some footprint so that when you run gdmflexiserver again, you get to choose between a dead session and a new session (in which you somehow cannot login as that same user anymore).
Installed gdm version is: 2.18.0-0ubuntu1
