Trash from removable disks shouldn't be put on the main drive as this can lead to security issues as what code may end up there!
With Nautilus go "Edit" "Preferences" and click on the behaviour tab and tick the box to  "Include a Delete command that bypasses Trash.
Then when you right click on a file it will give you an option to really delete the file, with appropriate warnings of course
