Alaska, llpamies: can you attach a file that makes evince hang?

Alaska: your backtrace is empty. Can you try this:

$ gdb evince
(gdb) run
*experience hang*
<Ctrl-C>
(gdb) thread apply all bt

and copy the resulting info to a comment? Do not kill the evince
instance before you get the backtrace.
