seeing the above issues under a minimal xfce desktop under edgy. Dist-
upgrade from dapper. Apps affected are xmmx, nerolinux, nwn installer.

Solution at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+1.2/+bug/62300 does
not work, as well as here :
