Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

(Using Edgy)

I have several CIFS network shares (both Windows and Linux) mounted on
my system. Some are bookmarked in Nautilus. If the connection to those
shares is lost (ie, network problems, wireless signal lost), it takes
Nautilus a VERY LONG time to recognize that and unmount them. For about
5 minutes or so, any Nautilus operations on my local filesystem are very
slow, and Nautilus will go inactive for up to a minute or two at a time.
I am not attempting to access the remote shares (which are no longer
available)--this occurs with any file operations on my local filesystem.

Perhaps this is related to bug #32873 as it seems similar in nature.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
