I'm sorry, I've badly attached the package, evince-gtk _has_ the option
for PDF print, but it doesn't work on my system (I get the error dialog
"Generating PDF is not supported")

"evince" has only "print to file" option without ability to print
multiple pages per sheet

- Binary package hint: evince-gtk

  1. Start Evince and open *.(ps|pdf) file
  2. CTRL+P to print it
  3. Select print to file
  
   - the only possibility is to print the file in PS format (but most people use PDF)
   - in Page Setup tab, Pages per sheet option offers just "1" page (but a lot of people want print multiple pages per sheet)
