yeah, this is fixed in feisty. but due to discussion with the maintainer of this package... this won't be getting offically fixed in dapper or edgy. 
there are 3'rd parties who have fixed this in their own builds of rhythmbox on edgy & dapper or you could update to feisty which is currently experimental and shouldn't be used on production machines or just let it keep crashing.
