[Bug 77735] iBook-G3 ("snow") some errors

greetings,
tried to reach audio-settings. Then the bug ! 
/var/crash/_usr_bin_gnome-sound-properties.1001.crash (1,3 MB)
con be submitted anothertime. 
  Besides : screenresolution on iBook-G3 was 1024 x 768 in Dapper AND in Edgy , but now only 800x600 delivers 4/5 of screen with repetition of upper part below and black margin on the right of the about 4/5.
