Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gedit
In gedit, when running Ubuntu with locale set to pt_BR.utf-8, gedit
translated "Scheme" and "Octave" programming languages names to
Portuguese, which is wrong. By convention, names are not translated to
Portuguese. For example, programming languages "Python", "Ruby" and
"Objective Caml" are not translated to "Pitão", "Rubi", "Camelo
Objetivo".
Steps to reproduce.
1. Set system language to Brazilian Portuguese.
2. In gedit, select "Ver", "Modo de Destaque", "Fontes". "Scheme" is translated to "Esquema".
3. In gedit, select "Ver", "Modo de Destaque", "Scripts". "Octave" is translated to "Oitava".
** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Unconfirmed
