Thank you for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? What window
manager do you use? Do you use a composite manager? Can you still switch
to a command line with ctrl-alt-F1 when that happens? Do you have
anything to /var/log/messages /var/log/syslog or /var/log/Xorg.0.log
about that?
