[Bug 86148] Cannot load Python plugin for 'External Tools' 'Python Console' and 'Snippets' in amd64

Binary package hint: gedit-plugins

I've noticed that these plugins are not selectable in the
Preferences/Plugins tab, and this problem has also been reported here:

At first glance, this would appear to be a fault of the amd64 version,
though that may just be a coincidence.
