Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
Using Ubuntu Edgy and since last gnomevfs update, I thik last week,
nautilus started to behave strangely on TV display - secondary head
while works perfect on primary head.
TV is connected with DVI/HDMI interface and position is above desktop.
VGA card is nVidia. If I move mouse to secondary display and try to open
folder with large files (movies), nautilus just freezes.
If I try to open it from console with nautilus --no-desktop it opens but
shows the following message:
(nautilus:19638): Nautilus-Python-WARNING **: g_module_open libpython failed: libpython2.4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.4/gtk-2.0/gobject/__init__.py", line 30, in ?
from _gobject import *
ImportError: /var/lib/python-support/python2.4/gtk-2.0/gobject/_gobject.so: undefined symbol: _Py_TrueStruct
(nautilus:19638): Nautilus-Python-WARNING **: could not import gobject
Moving to the folder mentioned above makes nautilus freeze.
There are no messages if opening it from primary display.
** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Unconfirmed
