Ok I'll keep on 2/

Blanking CD-RW is offered by *all* CD burning software excepted
nautilus.

And the reason it is there because people actually use this feature (in
particular complete blanking), having a dummy 700MB ISO around just to
blank a CD-RW is not a "user friendly" solution, don't you think?
