Thanks for your bug. That works fine on edgy for me. Could you get a backtrace with rhythmbox-dbg? Run rhythmbox with gdb for that:
- gdb rhythmbox
(gdb) run
... when it hangs, do Ctrl-C on the gdb prompt
(gdb) thread apply all bt

And copy that to a comment
