[Bug 62656] volume applet weird functioning

Hello,

my volume applet is with an abnormal functioning. When I increse volume,
using mouse, it decreases and and the opposite too. I'm using ubuntu
dapper, the volume applet version is 2.14.3 and gstreamer is 0.10
