I got a laptop where suspend_to_disk can not work. It is a thinkpad T43p
where in theory suspend_to_disk does work (and it indeed does on other
laptops of the same make), but due to my crypted swap drive it can not
work on this one particular computer.

The bug is that there is no way to stop hal from telling power managers
that suspend_to_disk is available. All will offer the hibernate option,
even when /etc/default/acpi-support was set to not have suspend_to_disk.
