[Bug 61699] Need to start gnome-pilot twice to syncronize

Public bug reported:

I have been having this problem since Breezy.
To syncronize, I have to open the gnome-pilot applet, try to syncronize, it always hangs the first time.
Then I kill the process "gnome-pilot" and "gpilotd", open the applet again, an syncronize without a glitch.
I don't know where to look to provide more specific information, but I'm more than willing to help out any way I can.
