is there a way to backport that fix?

the LTS would benefit from such a feature. as it's a 3/5-year support
system, and (I would imagine) more people will be using Dapper rather
than Edgy (because it has edges), developers would be getting more
feedback if Dapper's bug buddy is fixed.

and also, it's much faster to use bug buddy to reprt bugs ;)
