[Bug 60576] Adding LPD printer freezes gnome-cups-add

Public bug reported:

1. Run gnome-cups-add
2. Select LPD printer type
3. Fill in the hostname and queue fields
4. Press the Next button

At this point the program freezes.  Gdb shows this backtrace:
