Public bug reported:

I used boot-admin to rename my windows partition and my rescue partition to more
user friendly names. I now find that the original entries are still in the grub
menu along with the new names which I added. So the relevant section of
/boot/grub/menu.lst is now:

title IBM Recovery
	rootnoverify (hd0,1)
	makeactive
	chainloader +1

title Microsoft Windows XP Professional
	rootnoverify (hd0,0)
	makeactive
	chainloader +1

title Other operating systems:
root

# This entry automatically added by the Debian installer for a non-linux OS
# on /dev/sda2
title Windows NT/2000/XP
root (hd0,1)
unhide(hd0,1)
chainloader	+1

# This entry automatically added by the Debian installer for a non-linux OS
# on /dev/sda1
title Microsoft Windows XP Professional
root (hd0,0)
savedefault
makeactive
chainloader	+1
