I fixed it! On the command line, enter: gstreamer-properties A window for the Multimedia Systems Selector pops up. For "Default Output Plugin", change it to "ESD - Enlightenment Sound Daemon." Now CDs play! -- Could not get/set settings from/on resource. https://launchpad.net/bugs/52396
