[Bug 68195] evolution hung on the live dvd

Public bug reported:

I was testing the edgy live dvd 20061024 and tried to access the testing
account on my colo box with evolution. I clicked on the icon on the
main toolbar, entered the details (IMAP, SMTP, no encryption since I
have a vpn, etc).

It started evolution apparently successfully, and showed me the mailbox.
I clicked on a message, which displayed. I then tried to close the
message window and found evolution had frozen - no screen redraws.
Eventually metacity offered to force close it, which (on second offer) I
did.

The force close left three processes in ps -ef matching evolution, which
I sent SIGTERMs which caused them to quit.

I then tried restarting evolution with the icon, but it would not start
- no windows or anything, but it had started two processes (dataserver
interface check, and gnome evolution exchange component factory factory
factory factory factory oops got a bit carried away there).

This is a livedvd testing setup which I am about to reboot, so if more
info is needed we will have to try to reproduce it.

** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
