[Bug 68015] ugly font and blinking cursor

Binary package hint: yelp

after todays upgrade on edgy i checked yelp and the "about ubuntu"
section...

the font looks terrible - and there is a blinking cursor as if i were
editing the document. i can move the cursor character by character with
the arrows (as in a normal document)...
