Public bug reported:
Hi,
I'd like to use my Windows key as a Super key, and it seems to not be
set up for that in my dist. When I run xev, the Windows key is reported
as "Select". Same when I try to bind it in e.g. the Keyboard Shortcuts
dialog.
I've found some other bugs which seem to be similar, but they tend to
refer to an option not available in my Keyboard preferences dialog:
"Super is mapped to the Win-keys (default)". Has this changed in Edgy?
Background Info:
Distribution: Ubuntu Edgy Beta, updated with the latest packages
Keyboard: Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard
Preferences->Keyboard->Layout: Generic Keyboard, US-105-key keyboard (with windows key)
** Affects: control-center (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Unconfirmed
