[Bug 67688] Nautilus hangs Gnome on drag'n'drop and 'invalid parameters' error

Public bug reported:

Using Nautilus, start up a set of file copy or cut/paste operations, one
of which is going to cause an 'invalid parameters' error.

Start dragging and dropping a file from Nautilus but keep holding the
mouse button so it doesn't complete.

When the 'invalid parameters' error occurs, the Gnome interface
completely locks up - you can't press the 'skip' button on the error
box, you can't alt-tab between applications. Programs still run but you
have to ctrl-alt-backspace to reboot Gnome.

I can reproduce this by creating an empty file called test: on an ext3
drive and trying to copy it along with a number of other files to a
FAT32 partition. The other files are just to give me a chance to pick up
some file before the error occurs. I can recreate this on both Dapper
and the latest Edgy Nautilus.

Note: even when you are not dragging and dropping so Gnome doesn't hang,
this 'invalid parameters' error actually stops ALL Nautilus windows
other than the invalid parameters message window from responding - this
can be quite confusing if you have a number of windows open and can't
see why they aren't responding.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
