[Bug 67450] Ubuntu Edgy RC

Public bug reported:

I just installed the new RC and installed all available updates. I tried
to run terminal to begin setting up my system, but it doesn't work.
"Starting Terminal" opens on the taskbar but then closes after about 30
seconds. Any ideas on how to help you debug this?
