Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-themes

Alot of default GNOME themes and engines are installed by default that
only adds too much space in Theme manager. For example, Crux theme is
not commonly used theme, and is included in gnome-themes and
gtk2-engines as default. Alot of those themes and engines are unwanted,
and doesn't fit nicely in a modern desktop.

The default themes that will come up in Ubuntu should be selected in a
modularized fashion, so that unwanted themes can be removed and only the
distro themes, contrast themes, and default themes should be installed.

** Affects: gnome-themes (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
