[Bug 66399] primary selection replace

Public bug reported:

This is not as much a bug as a feature request:

-Now, if you select some text by dragging the cursor while the left-
button is pressed, it goes to the primary clipboard (I think that's the
proper name). Then, if you hit the middle-button on a text field, it
gets pasted.

-On the other hand, selecting text by dragging the cursor while the
middle-button is pressed is not possible.

My idea is to allow middle-button selection, which would result in
REPLACING selected text with the contents of the primary clipboard.

My user example: if I want to copy epiphany's location bar's content to
a different epiphany window I have to select it, then place the cursor
at the end of the other window's location bar and backspace my way to
the beginning; in my ideal world, I would select it, then middle-select
the text on the other location bar, which would be replaced with the
desired contents.

Not sure if I made myself clear. Did I?

** Affects: gtk+2.0 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
