[Bug 66385] Gaim pops up many popups for the same error

Public bug reported:

I had problems connecting to an account this morning.

Gaim displayed a button with red text. I clicked that button; it
disappeared and a dialog appeared with an error message. I left that
open; gaim tried to reconnect some time later. The button re-appeared. I
clicked the button: there are two warning dialogs open.
